Now that Thanksgiving is over (which was very yummy) and I've shipped off my latest batch of hats and scarves to the art gallery in Charlotte (Ruby's Gift in NoDa), I've gotten back to the quilts. Four quilt tops are ready for spray basting which I'll do (with help) this Saturday. Spray basting (at least for now) is a two person job ... or at least it's way easier with two. Here's a dark brown African motif batik quilt I'm machine quilting today with the walking foot in a serpentine stitch ... from top to bottom 1 1/4" apart. Almost done! And then it'll be time for the binding.
