Here's a bright and colorful lap quilt done in a new technique (for me) ... string piecing.  You reach into your pile of fabric strips and sew the next strip down.  If you're very brave, you don't even look to see if it's the right color.  This quilt will have a bit of a pattern going on because I used the same black with yellow circles for the center of each block.  Vibrant batiks in greens, pinks, oranges and blues combine to create a really dramatic design and beautiful quilt.  It will be approximately 38" x 54".  It's in the pile waiting for quilting....
