Here's a new favorite method for creating art quilts ... string piecing. There's a lot of freedom in selecting the strips of fabric to create this beautiful pink heart that's 28" x 28" and ready for hanging as a decorative wall quilt.  "Pink Love", String Pieced Art Quilt, 28" x 28"  Art quilt or wall hanging using the fabric collage technique. Mr. Goose has been sold and has moved to Southern California. This art quilt was created using a fabric collage technique where pieces of fabric are layered to create a fabric painting. After the design was complete, the entire piece was free motion quilted. I will definitely be making more of these art quilts.
